The method

Elo decides the board.

Every bout moves two ratings. Who you beat matters as much as how you beat him.

  1. 1200

    Everyone starts even

Every wrestler opens the season at 1200. Bouts count in the order they happen.

  2. 01

    Who you beat

Before each bout the rating gap sets the odds. Upset a higher-rated wrestler and you gain a lot; beat a lower-rated one and you gain a little. The loser drops what the winner gains.

  3. 02

    How you win

    A fall or DQ is worth 1.5×, a tech fall 1.3×, a major 1.15× and a decision 1×. K-factor 32.

  4. Elo

    One live rating
